The Bio of Burl
Born on March 18, 1968 in Southern California, Burl showed an interest early on in music, eventually earning degrees in composition and business. As a classically trained percussionist, he has performed with a wide variety of groups in styles ranging from rock to orchestral to drum and bugle corps. He remains connected to these roots through his work with a national music education journal.
While in college, Burl briefly dabbled in radio broadcasting through the school’s campus station. When the opportunity arose in 2007 to host an internet radio show on BlogTalkRadio, he jumped at the chance, even recruiting his wife to co-host the show. They have gone on to garner rave reviews by their listeners and secured some top names in entertainment for interviews.
Burl currently resides in Chicago, Illinois with his wife and two children.
